One of the Westside’s best known communities, Santa Monica has it all: sprawling beaches, a seaside pier complete with an iconic Ferris wheel, a dynamic dining scene, high-end shopping, a roster of year-round events, and a mix of pristine residential neighborhoods. Over the past decade, the city has been dubbed “Silicon Beach” as a nod to the many tech companies that have settled here … driving real estate prices up along with them. The housing stock consists of low- and mid-rise condominiums, bungalows, historical Spanish homes, and modern marvels. As prices increase, many of the vintage bungalows are being replaced with new construction, yet the city still retains much of its deeply rooted beach charm and culture.
